Photographer Timothy Hogan is someone whose pictures have caught my eye. One thing that he does that interests me is using liquids to help add another layer to hid pictures to make them seem like they are moving. This is a tool that i would like to be able to use in the future. In his pictures such as the one shown below, it is clear to see how he uses liquids and glass to add something special to his pictures.
Super late on this blog, but i am happy to report that i have been getting to spend plenty of time in the dark room. I have also been working on painting my pictures which is coming out great. I'm hoping to have some posted soon. :)
So this week I have been double exposing my negatives and that has come out great. I posted one of them on the blog previously and I really hope you all enjoy it. They are so much fun to make and a can not wait to show you some more.
Right now i am working on a new project. I am making a picture mash-up of one of my favorite pictures from this year. I'm hoping to have it 100% done soon so i can put it on here.
I started something new in class this week. I am no longer developing full sized pictures. I have found that by making my pictures wallet sized they come out with much better clarity than before. It also is making it easier on my Dad's wallet, because I can get four pictures out of one paper; instead of only one. I think this is a cool tool that can help others working on a budget.
Working with special effects is awesome. Got some great pictures ad am really pumped about getting a new paint brush to work with. This is going to be great!
New pictures came out and i couldn't be happier. Every single one developed and you can actually tell what they are. This is more what i wanted. I hope i'm on a roll now and everything else will come out as well.
This week i tried to get my nature pictures done. So far that was a bust. My first roll had only 8 pictures that came out and on my second i exposed the film. I hope the rest of the year is not going to be this much of a struggle. Im going to put the 8 pictures on soon. Maybe my next roll will be better. :)
